HeliAg is based in Arrowtown providing service to the surrounding areas of Otago and Southland, New Zealand.
We provide a range of Helicopter services for the agricultural and viticultural industries. The company has been established since 2002 and can provide farmers with a professional level of service to reflect our values of quality and precision.
Our pilots and ground crew are all specialists and are extensively trained in the application of all types of chemicals and fertiliser products and our helicopters are fitted with purpose built spray and bucket equipment.
We are accredited members of the New Zealand Agricultural Aviation Association, who actively promote and encourage higher standards in the industry, and are certified by the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority Part 137 (Agricultural Aircraft Operations).

Legal battles are continuing with CAA recently leading to the CEO of Heli Ag speaking out at the 2011 Aviation Conference in Wellington.
The Robinson 66 has just been released in New Zealand and while being demoed throughout NZ the Heli Ag pilots put it through its paces. We are very impressed with this helicopter, it has good specs, was confortable in all flight with no sign of any unfavourable traits. We believe that the R66 will soon become the most favoured general aviation agricultural helicopter. Well done Mr Robinson. We are hoping that work on certifying spray gear and a hook for the R66 is completed soon.
